Chapter 19
The Postwar year years were incredibly prosperous ones for the United States: it emerges from WWII as the dominant power in the world, and enormous change takes place as people leave cities to grow suburbs, television becomes the communication medium that everyone has to see, the roles of women in society are in flux, and the stage is set for minorities to fight for their rights. Oh yeah, and a cold war begins. All of this in Chapter 19!!
