A message from Mr. Schabo
This week is going to be a big one...we are moving from World War I to World War II. Obviously, WWI was wrapped up in the worst way possible. The bad feelings created made it inevitable that conflict would occur down the road, but the factors featured in Module 27 show just how the road to war was traveled. We start by looking at what people are thinking in the post-war world. We then look at the effects of the Great Depression - a financial collapse that occurred in the United States, but had global ramifications. We then look at how, in the wake of economic destruction, people turn to Fascism and nationalism to restore their nations to glory. And finally, Module 27 ends with examining hoe those fascist regimes exert their power on the nations around them; often invading their neighbors to add territory to their nation.

song of the day
As I type this, the sun is out and it looks like a great day. I hope everyone is able to get outside for a walk, or a bike ride, or just to sit on the porch and relax. Here's a feel good tune to help with the good vibes.
