Hey all! Every now and then, I mess up. It seems to happen when I'm doing things I am unfamiliar with, like navigating teaching online. I made these neat pages for class on Friday, 4/24/20, and did not post them. No wonder I got some emails from students saying they can't find the assignments posted on my website. So, to make up for my mess-up, take today and get caught up. By now I have returned everything that has been handed in to me via Google Classroom, and tomorrow I will be initiating calls home for students who haven't submitted anything yet. So if you're all caught up, enjoy the day. It's really nice outside. Sit on your porch, go for a walk, or sleep if you can (light blocking curtains helps). Whatever you're doing, I hope you enjoy and stay safe! See you tomorrow!
Song of the day
Here's a song from a true American treasure. His music is the epitome of musicianship, cool, and completely embodies Rhythm & Blues. A true pioneer of American music, his version of "America" is what I think should be our National Anthem. He's had numerous hits throughout his career in several genres of music including Gospel, R & B, Blues, and even country. He has been in movies, and had a popular Oscar-nominated movie made about his life. This is Ray Charles, with Hit the Road Jack
