Today it's all about China - the end of the Imperial system, rise of nationalism, and eventual turn toward Communism that results in a civil war that outlasts WWII! It's a pretty big story, and while I am asking you to look at the Short Read today, please make sure you view the Crash Course video on China (I have posted it in Arabic too! Today we have a song from a band I met when one of the summers I performed on the Warped Tour. They are all from Los Angeles, and I was impressed with how they were able to blend a lot of different influences like traditional Latino music with funk, soul, and rap.
