The War Ends...or does it?

Today we will be taking a look at the formal cessation of hostilities between the Allies and the Axis powers. The Treaty of Versailles was a poorly thought out document that in the long run, created more problems than it solved. Many countries (Germany, Russia) were not invited to the table to express their own needs and settle issues, and feelings of bitterness and hostility emerge that, when combined with economic issues resulting from the treaty AND a global depression, lead to a second world war.

I only need the worksheet part of this. I put the short read with it because they were all in the same PDF file. Yesterday, I had a problem with your assignment because I attempted to bust up a pdf, reformat it, and post it as a new pdf, and wound up losing pages. Just print the 3rd page and complete.

song of the day

Day three of my "Facebook Influential Albums" challenge. As I was growing up, and even into my 20s, a lot of my musical exposure came from movie soundtracks. You could hear a lot of different bands on one soundtrack and find songs that you like and check out that band. Today's album is the soundtrack for the movie "Grosse Pointe Blank", which in addition to being a funny movie with an awesome soundtrack, happens to take place in the Detroit Metro area. It's on HBO Go right now, and if you have the app, you could do a lot worse than visiting this funny movie.
