Last week we talked about the 4 goals of psychology, and that it is a systematic way to investigate behavior. Today, we need to look at where Psychology has been in order to know how we got here. This section of the book is all about the history of psychology, and while it may not be totally awesome, it stands as an interesting study of how a new academic field becomes a legitimate area of study instead of being relegated to a popular fad.
